Lot Information
Lot 1
This is a Contract AWARD Notice and as such the procurement process is complete. The successful supplier will provide tailored support to SMEs participating in Business to Healthcare (B2Hc). B2Hc supports SMEs in their ambition to sell their products or services to the health and care sector, which includes NHS, private healthcare, direct to consumers, corporates. SMEs based or active in the Highland Council area will be supported to showcase their product/service to relevant expert audiences (e.g. NHS clinicians) and connect to networks to gain initial buyer and customer feedback. The ultimate aim is for these life sciences and technology SMEs to see their products and services adopted and purchased by the health and care sector long term. Phase 1 of B2Hc (ongoing until July 2022) welcomed any type of business or product. This phase 2 will focus on a number of themes that are in line with NHS Highland priority areas (Diabetes, orthopedics and opthomology - aligned with new Inverness NHS National Treatment Centre) and opportunities for quick commercialisation/easy market entry (direct to consumer, direct to corporates). Companies addressing these themes will be invited to apply.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
Renewal: The Contract will be awarded for an initial period of 20 months with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 6 months following the Initial Term.
