The contract will cover preventative maintenance visits at our larger sites: Arbroath Abbey (1 visit per annum), Edinburgh Castle (4 visits per annum), Elgin Cathedral (2 visits per annum), Skara Brae (1 visit per annum), Stanley Mills (2 visits per annum) and Stirling Castle (4 visits per annum) There will also be repairs, as and when required, including sourcing and replacing hardware as required at the above sites and including: Aberdour Castle, Argyll's Lodging, Arnol Blackhouse, Caerlaverock Castle, Corgarff Castle, Dallas Dhu Distillery, Dryburgh Abbey, Duff House, Fort George, Jarlshof, Jedburgh Abbey, Kinnaird Head, New Abbey Corn Mill, Rothesay Castle, St Andrews Castle, St Andrews Cathedral, St Vigeans Museum, Urquhart Castle, Whithorn Museum. Examples of working needing done would be telephone assistance, updating software on touchscreens, possibility of recoding legacy Flash content, specification advice, potential sourcing and installation of any new AV hardware required for any future interpretive elements or exhibitions. This list is not exhaustive and Historic Environment Scotland may also add additional sites and hardware into this contract.

Renewal: After the initial 2 years there will be an option to extend for a further 4 years.
