EDC/2022/3594 Ad Hoc Street Lighting Electrician and MEWP Vehicle
Notice Description
EDC requires a qualified/experienced street lighting electrician. The electrician providing the services should have a valid operator certification and current Scottish Power/ERG39 authorisation. The electrician will be involved in various aspects of street lighting installation and maintenance within the Council area on an ad hoc basis during times of peak workload. Within EDC, there is a total of some 19,500 lit units of which some 13,500 (approx 70%) comprise LED light sources. The nature of the works is encompassing all aspects of street lighting installation and maintenance which is largely reactive and unpredictable.
