It ensures that data can be communicated, reused and shared efficiently, without loss, change or interpretation. AIMS typically contains Information Models comprising of: -graphical information e.g., drawings and models. -non-graphical information e.g., schedules and specifications. -associated documents e.g., manuals and warranties which are progressively developed across a project lifecycle.
