Scottish Government Education Analytical Services, with the Directorate for Children and Families, on behalf of the Scottish Ministers, wishes to commission a research project to collect data on the provision of milk and snacks as part of the Scottish Milk and Health Snack Scheme (SMHSS) and the Scottish School Milk Scheme. The aim of the work is to collect data on the costs of the provision of milk, snacks and non-dairy alternatives as well as uptake, from day care of children settings, childminders, local authorities, schools, milk suppliers, suppliers of non-dairy alternatives and snack suppliers.

Scottish Government Directorate for Children and Families wish to commission research to collect data on the costs of provision, uptake, reach and delivery of the SMHSS and the Scottish School Milk Scheme'. This data will contribute to future budgeting processes and may be used to determine appropriate rates to be paid to settings or local authorities providing milk and/or snacks as part of each scheme.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal: Option to extend for a further one 3-month period at the sole discretion of the Scottish Government.
