Options: In line with 72 - Modification of Contracts During their Term, of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, this Contract may be modified without a new procurement procedure in accordance with this Part in some cases.
Renewal: The contract duration is 24-months, with the option to extend for up to an additional two 12-month periods. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to utilise the extension periods at its discretion.

Provision of Fixed Fire Fighting including Sprinkler & Dry Riser Maintenance - The University requires to contract a supplier to maintain and service the dry riser and sprinkler systems throughout the entire John Anderson Campus. The maintenance of Dry risers will be required every 6 months (full hydraulic test annually) with quarterly maintenance to the Sprinkler systems to ensure all equipment is in correct working order. The University currently has 36 Dry risers and 3 sprinkler systems. Further details of maintenance schedules will be provided as part of the Commercial Pricing Schedule to assist in providing quotes. -

Provision of a Fixed Fire Fighting Equipment Maintenance Measured Term Contract (MTC) (2023-27) - The University of Strathclyde ("the University") is seeking to establish a measured term contract (MTC) to support the delivery of activities outlined below: This Contract will include, however, will not be limited to; - Planned & preventative maintenance (PPM) of dry risers, and sprinklers across the John Anderson Campus, according to a schedule set out by the Specification; - Reactive / emergency maintenance services of dry risers, and sprinklers across the John Anderson Campus; - Ad hoc services / works, projects that will be quoted for on the basis of the rates submitted as part of the Pricing Document; - All requirements must be delivered and / or conducted by competent engineers, and in conjunction with BS 5306; and - Reporting requirements, the Contractor will be required to submit reports following each completed item of works, such as inspection tests or remedial works. The Contract will be awarded on a sole supply basis, and its remit largely relates to Services, albeit there may be elements of Goods and Works purchased within it. -
