Lot 1

The Centre for Continuous Manufacturing and Advanced Crystallisation (CMAC) is a world-class centre of excellence for medicines manufacturing research, training and translation. Working in partnership with industry, CMAC's goal is to transform the development and manufacture of medicines. CMAC seek to secure a sole supplier to delivery a state-of- the-art interactive case studies using Augmented Reality technology (Microsoft HoloLens 2) to maximum the impact of research, researcher engagement, training and usefulness of big data and AI outputs. The supplier must deliver 8-12 case studies for use with Microsoft HoloLens 2 covering all major research areas of CMAC. The case studies will cover communications, training and data mapping The supplier will collaborate with CMAC to develop case studies in the use of augmented reality on the HoloLens for communications, training and skills development, and sample and data mapping relating to medicine manufacturing. This work will last for a duration of 12 months covering several of CMAC's programmes and require a supplier who can not only delivery the programming, animation and visuallisation of CMAC equipment assets but who can also work collaboratively to co-develop solutions where the path is currently unknown within the remit of the specified contract.

Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional services from the successful Tenderer, either intended extension of existing services or in replacement of existing services. The Contracting Authority may at its sole discretion exercise this option.

Renewal: The Contract Authority reserves the right to extend this contract for a period of up to 12 months. The Contracting Authority offers no guarantee that this contract will be extended. Please note the estimated value of the contract is inclusive of the extension period.
