Paisley Museum Signage and Wayfinding Design
Notice Description
Paisley Museum Re-Imagined project are seeking Signage and Wayfinding Designers to develop a bespoke full signage and wayfinding scheme for the redeveloped museum, considering the new extension, the alterations, the new displays and facilities, and our audience and their needs. The successful bidder will design a complete suite of bespoke signage scheme, comprising signage drawings, schedules and specifications for a subsequent Signage Production and Installation tender. Paisley Museum Re-Imagined will become a landmark destination. It is the flagship project of the town's regeneration plans and has a distinctive new extension, designed by a world-class architect, AL_A (Amanda Levete Architects) with an exhibition design by Opera Amsterdam. It displays a unique collection, using innovative display and interpretation techniques. We are sector-leading in our commitment to co-production and the museum shares the same high aspiration for all aspects of the project. The designer should analyse our building, develop designs that dovetail with the Museum's Branding Design, the architectural and exhibition design to create a compelling and logical signage and wayfinding scheme for our visitor to enable them to navigate a previously challenging and confusing campus of buildings. Further details about the project can be found here: https://reimagined.paisleymuseum.org/about-paisley-museum/
