Contract 620_0201 identified a suitable supplier with the capacity and capability to undertake the work and continuation of these surveys with this supplier will ensure the accuracy of the data received. The seasonal nature of the work is designed to facilitate further academic studies and research which will assist FLS, and the wider wildlife management sector, to gain a more in-depth understanding of high culling pressure on deer and how this can affect the immigration/emigration of wild deer species in Scotland.
