Notice Description
Renfrewshire Council is conducting market engagement in regard to the Preparation and Supply of Community Meals (Sandwiches). The Community Meals Service aims to support individuals in maintaining their independence within the community by delivering hot and cold nutritious meals directly to the door of service users. The provision of hot meals is covered by a Scotland Excel Framework Agreement therefore Renfrewshire Council wishes to explore the current market, to understand suppliers who may be interested/have capacity to undertake the preparation and supply of the sandwiches/light lunch (eg wraps, rolls, etc) element only.

Lot 1
Renfrewshire Council anticipates conducting a procurement exercise during 2024 to appoint a single supplier to undertake preparation and supply of sandwiches and associated foods. These will be delivered to a central point in the Renfrewshire Council area. This service would complement the wider Community Meals Service, delivered under the Scotland Excel framework. It is anticipated that the Tender Procedure shall be conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 Open Procedure. This notice relates to market engagement, to determine the availability and capacity of potential suppliers of this service.. Interested parties should refer to the attached document (PIN Details of Current Service) and ensure they have noted interest. Renfrewshire Council welcomes feedback on the proposed exercise. However, this is no guarantee of the final structure and requirements which Renfrewshire Council may procure.
