Notice Title
Supply and Delivery of De-Icing Salt
Notice Description
Supply and delivery of de-icing salt to ScotRail locations. Delivery is to be delivered / hand balled to site specific requirements. This is a single supplier framework, as specific amounts of salt may vary every year. Framework awarded as per notice.
Lot Information
Lot 1
ScotRail are tendering for a single supplier framework for the supply and delivery of white salt and low corrosion salt for use at ScotRail stations and depots. Suppliers should note the site specific delivery requirements in the tender documents. Because of the nature of the ScotRail estate, suppliers will be required to deliver bagged salt to stations by hand to salt stores, not to a central location. Amounts required are likely to vary over the duration of the contract.. ScotRail are issuing the PQQ and ITN at the same time, to call-off from the framework place as soon as possible.
Renewal: The framework is due to expire in line with the ScotRail Grant Agreement on the 31 March 2032. It may be extended for an additional 12 months, up to 31 March 2033.
