Lot Information
Lot 1
This is a Prior Information Notice for Wheatley Group. Wheatley Group has a large and ambitious programme of new build housing delivery, targeting 1,000 new homes each calendar year. In support of this development programme, the Group has an existing New-Build Contractor Framework, which allows for a quick and standardised route to market for the delivery of homes and from which principal contractors can be procured at feasibility stage if required. The Group also has an established Technical Consultancy Framework, including a Lot for Chartered Civil and Structural Engineers. Therefore, there is an existing capability for the desktop survey of sites, as well as for the design, interpretation and application of site surveys and investigations. There is a need to establish a procurement route from which survey and investigation work can be called-off from. It is envisaged that the framework under consideration would encompass the following Lots and bidders would be invited to bid for any or all of these Lots: Lot 1 - Ground Investigations: Services - carrying out site investigations (bore hole surveys, trail pits) - material sampling/testing and - provision of reports. Proposed Assessment - Specification, schedule of rates and 4 x quality questions. 6 example projects including small, medium, and large sample sites, both with and without piles. Lot 2 - Topographic Surveys: Services - surveying of sites and - production of georeferenced topographic drawings. Proposed Assessment - Specification, sample price and 3 x quality questions. 3 example projects including small, medium, and large sample sites. Lot 3 - GPRS: Services - surveying of drainage infrastructure and - production of georeferenced drawings showing service locations. Proposed Assessment - Specification, sample price and 3 x quality questions. 2 example projects including brownfield and greenfield sites. Lot 4 - CCTV and condition of drainage and manholes: Services - surveying of sites and - production of evidence demonstrating location and condition. Proposed Assessment - Specification, sample price and 3 x quality questions. 2 example projects including brownfield and greenfield sites. Lot 5 - Tree Surveys: Services - surveying of sites and - production of evidence demonstrating location and condition. - The above to produced as per B5837:2012 Proposed Assessment - Specification, sample price and 3 x quality questions. 2 example projects including brownfield and greenfield sites. Lot 6 - Archaeological Evaluations: - initial desktop analysis of site conditions, - invasive evaluations such as trial trenches and excavations. - Production of any reports and documentation would be produced, including recommendations for mitigation and additional measures/surveys to be undertaken. Proposed Assessment - Specification, schedule of rates and 5 x quality questions. 4 example projects including brownfield and greenfield sites, in areas of high potential for archaeology and those without.
