The Prior Information Notice (PIN) invitation relates to a potential open tender for the provision of servicing and maintenance support. The Contracting Authority on behalf of the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland (NMIS), seeks notes of interest from suppliers who believe they have the capability and capacity to support NMIS to service and maintain a X-ray Computed Tomography System housed at the NMIS facility. Potential Tenderers who believe they can fulfil the high level specification detailed in this PIN shall note their interest in this notice by 11:00am on the 16th of April 2025.

Lot 1

The University of Strathclyde (Contracting Authority) seeks notes of interest for a potential procurement exercise for the provision of servicing and maintenance of a X-Ray Computed Tomography System (Model XT H 320, OEM Nikon).The Contracting Authority anticipates that the contract will be for a duration of twenty four (24) months. The Contracting Authority requires a supplier that can fulfil the below non-exhaustive list of requirements: 1)The supplier shall carry out Nikon-X and CT Pro software updates as and when required. 2)The successful supplier must provide risk assessment documents for onsite visits that align with NMIS' HS&E policies and procedures. 3) The Contracting Authority requires as a minimum, one scheduled preventative maintenance visit a year from the supplier, covering the entire system. 4) In line with the above, the supplier shall complete a radiation survey at every site visits (including issuance of a radiation certificate upon completion). 5) The supplier shall respond and support the Contracting Authority's call outs for issues, within a maximum of 5 working days, all labour shall be covered by the supplier. 6) The supplier shall provide like for like replacements of any failing components. Some components will need to be replaced with OEM standard components. 7) All consumables required during maintenance will be covered under the contract at no additional cost to the Contracting Authority. 8) The supplier will provide a dedicated email contact and any call for support shall require a response within 24 hrs (one working day). 9) Similar to the above, the supplier shall provide a dedicated phone contact for support. Any request for support from the Contracting Authority shall be delivered within 24 hours (one working day).
