Notice Description

The council requires an external training provider to deliver specific Health & Safety Courses. The training is required for all Directorates and Services. The main courses that are required would be - IOSH Managing Safely - IOSH Managing Safely Refresher - IOSH Working Safely - Risk Assessment Please Note: Risk Assessment (Must include the completion of a Risk Assessment Template showing control measures and actions etc). The delivery method would either be face to face tutor lead, or tutor lead virtual classroom. If face to face courses are run, these can either be at the training provider location or at a venue provided by the Council.

Please Note: e-learning is regarded as not suitable and sufficient for the above courses. Other training courses in a health and safety subjects would be desirable but not essential. The training frequency will be supply and demand which could fluctuate depending on the flow of employees either moving job role, moving location or those commencing employment.
