Fife Council wishes to appoint an independent chair to ensure that the Child and Adult Support and Protection Committees, which comprise of representatives from the NHS, Police Scotland, the Council and third sector members, to discharge their functions in accordance with national legislation and guidance relating to child and adult support and protection. The independent chair will be rigorous, inclusive, objective, will hold people to account and will be independent from all other agencies.

Fife Council wishes to appoint an independent chair to ensure that the Child and Adult Support and Protection Committees, which comprise of representatives from the NHS, Police Scotland, the Council and third sector members, to discharge their functions in accordance with national legislation and guidance relating to child and adult support and protection. The independent chair will be rigorous, inclusive, objective, will hold people to account and will be independent from all other agencies.

Options: Fife Council may require additional purchases under this contract which have not been specifically detailed in the specification however any additional purchases will be in full accordance with the requirements of Regulation 72 of the Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
