The HH212-25-SP Aruba Support Package is a comprehensive renewal of support and maintenance services for NHS Highland's Aruba wireless network infrastructure. It was initiated after it became clear that several essential Aruba devices, particularly wireless controllers, had reached the end of their existing support term, creating a significant operational and service-continuity risk. Given that these controllers underpin the wider wireless estate, ensuring they remain fully supported is critical to maintaining network stability, performance, and resilience. This support package re-establishes full vendor-backed coverage across the wireless estate, giving NHS Highland access to firmware updates, security patches, bug fixes, and direct technical escalation channels. It ensures that all covered devices remain compliant with manufacturer support requirements and can receive timely assistance in the event of outages or performance issues. The arrangement also protects NHS Highland against equipment downtime that could otherwise affect clinical and business operations. As part of the procurement process, Computacenter provided a refreshed call-off contract aligned to the relevant framework, incorporating a detailed Statement of Work and a supported-device inventory.
