These costings will inform a number of grant applications to bodies including the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Coastal Communities Fund, administered by Aberdeenshire Council. The contract related to Interpretation Services has two distinct parts: 1.2.1 Design - Interpretive planning and development for the Visitor Centre and Museum, including the production of interpretive concept, consultation and cocreation, detailed and technical designs and all interpretive content, including signage and interpretation for the sensitive area of duneland and estuary on which the buildings and boardwalk are/will be sited. 1.2.2 Detailed Costings - An interpretation scheme laying out detailed indicative costings for all elements of interpretation proposed.
