Kilmartin Museum requires the services of an Evaluation Consultant to devise an Evaluation Strategy and Framework to evaluate the MGS funded Funding the Future: Unlocking Potential at Kilmartin Museum Project. The Evaluation Strategy and Framework should: 1. allow Kilmartin Museum to demonstrate its progress in achieving the project aims to MGS and the Board of Trustees 2. assess the effectiveness of the roll out of the Funding Strategy and Action Plan 3. provide check in points throughout the project to assess the effectiveness of overall Training Plan and Individual Training and Mentoring Plans for staff and trustees 4. review the effectiveness of the use of the Fundraising and Training consultant. The Evaluation Consultant will then implement the strategy and framework.

The Tender The Consultant must provide: - a methodology for evaluation - a breakdown of costs as described in the section titled Budget below - a CV and description of relevant experience (covering no more than 2 pages of A4) - relevant examples of recent work (covering no more than 2 pages of A4) - two relevant references. The Consultant will be expected to demonstrate: 4 - an understanding of the brief and context - proven experience of developing and delivering project evaluation for projects in the heritage and or museums or charity sector - ability to write clear and accurate copy - excellent presentation skills. A consortium of Consultants will be considered. In this case, the lead consultant must be identified and skills required clearly identified to individuals. The Consultant will be expected to familiarise themselves with, and adhere to, grant rules of Museums Galleries Scotland.
