Notice Description
Argyll and Bute Council wish to contract with an external party to deliver distinctive, place-based public artwork, and a wayfinding experience that captures Tarbert's identity as a working fishing village, while inviting reflection on its past, present, and future. This project will: - Highlight stories of the fishing community - Improve wayfinding through creative and accessible design - Create a high-quality mural and associated interpretive elements that visually enhance the village We are seeking a facilitator/team who can commit to a 3 year project.

The project legacy will include: - An outdoor, large-scale mural - A 'You are Here' style of map This project will: - Highlight stories of the fishing community - Improve wayfinding through creative and accessible design - Create a high-quality mural and associated interpretive elements that visually enhance the village. This work forms part of Tarbert Heritage Scheme, a five-year heritage-led regeneration programme, funded by: Historic Environment Scotland, the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and Argyll and Bute Council. The scheme focuses on safeguarding Tarbert's historic environment while supporting community wellbeing, skills development, and economic resilience.
