Summary of the contracting process

Public Services Delivery Scotland, through NHS Scotland procurement services, plans to buy and supply injection equipment and related paraphernalia across Scotland. The goods will include individual items and pre-packed single-use equipment for people who use drugs, including performance and image-enhancing drugs, alongside naloxone products for approved services. A fourth lot will cover harm-reduction innovation, including inhalation devices linked to potential changes in legislation and safer drug use. Supplies are intended for NHS Scotland health boards, special health boards, other NHS organisations and integrated joint boards.
