Summary of the contracting process

Fife Council is planning to procure services to identify, recommend and implement an integrated digital solution covering strategic and service-level planning, performance management, risk management and internal audit follow-up. The system will manage related actions across the organisation, support continuous improvement and improve reporting and decision-making. It is also intended to support statutory compliance with the council’s performance management and risk management policies and strategies, as well as internal audit requirements. This is an organisation-wide digital transformation service for Fife Council, whose headquarters and operational base for the procurement are in Glenrothes. The work falls within information technology services, including software implementation and associated professional support, rather than the supply of standalone hardware or a narrowly focused risk tool.

This process is at the planning stage: Fife Council has announced an intention to procure, but has not yet invited tenders. The council expects a future procurement notice on 2 November 2026; this is an indicative publication date, not a deadline for responses.
