Description: Step 2 and Childrens Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP) Services provides early help mental health support via assessment, treatment and support for CYP (0-18 for Step 2 and 5-19 for CWP) with mild to moderate mental health difficulties which are causing distress and impacting on day-to-day life. Step 2 delivers interventions supported by specialist mental health professionals including mental health advisors, clinical psychologists and clinical therapists. The CWP service is a national programme and provides emotional wellbeing support to CYP via manualised CBT, who would benefit from early intervention, low intensity support.
