South Oxfordshire District Council and Vale of White Horse District Council (the councils) are replacing the active network components of their offices and buildings, including all switching, wireless access points and security devices. The councils wish to move to a single cloud-managed platform for all sites and devices enabling management through a single dashboard. The solution should include installation and configuration of the devices to enable the councils' network to support the migration to a Zero-Trust-Network (ZTN) using SD-WAN. All sites support hybrid working with staff being able to work at home and within the office over a corporate LAN. The councils' technology strategy is a cloud-first approach, and all main applications are either delivered software-as-a-service (SaaS), are planned to move to SaaS or be hosted in Azure. Productivity applications are provided via Microsoft 365. The councils have no main datacentre or physical centralised server-room. Each site will be connected to the internet via direct connection and will require network protection. OUTLINE REQUIREMENTS Solution must be managed through a single cloud enabled platform and provide single dashboard for unified management for switching, wireless and security appliances. The Northern Lighthouse Board's video conferencing system used in our Stevenson Meeting Rooms has reached end of life. This project will cover the upgrade/replacement of this equipment, standardising with the same systems as our other meeting rooms. Objective: Install Logitech Tap Teams video conferencing system in both Stevenson Rooms with ceiling mounted microphones, while utilising the existing Extron media controls and Clevertouch screens. West Sussex County Council is working in partnership with Chichester District Council and Chichester City Council to deliver its strategic ambitions- to improve both mobile and fixed fibre connectivity to businesses, residents and visitors in the city's busy centre. Stoke on Trent City Council currently provides an in-house Telecare Service offer, renowned for its gold standard across all elements. The Telecare Service provides assistive technology services to self-funders in the Stoke-on-Trent and immediate-surrounding area, and to adult social care clients in Stoke-on-Trent. The service includes: - Assessment of telecare equipment requirements, - Purchase, provision, maintenance and recycling of relevant equipment, - monitoring of activations, medical triage of emergency calls and taking actions to meet people's requirements (using response service wherever safe to do so, rather than ambulance callout), - 24/7 emergency response including attendance at the person's house, medical triage, taking vital signs, moving people from floor to bed/chair using lifting equipment and safe moving techniques and welfare visits. Our internal service is currently supporting 4500 clients overall, each of whom have access to emergency response and 24/7 services. The service operates to the following targets: - Answering activations = 99% within 1 minute, 99.5% within 3 minutes. This does not include where calls are answered and put on hold. - Emergency responses = 90% of responses within 45 minutes of alarm activation - Installation = urgent installations within 2 working days, standard installations within 10 working days - Digital-ready = all new installations will be digitally-equipped; all equipment and call handling infrastructure will be completely digital by 31 December 2025.
