General Terms All relevant approvals and stress testing to be supplied by the tenderer in accordance with Buckinghamshire Council's Code of Practice and all other legal requirements pertaining to the scope of supply. All copies of all relevant insurance certificates and licences to work on the highway to also be provided together with a certificate of Employers Liability and suitable Public Liability insurance. Proof of capability and experience to include a list of relevant current customers. This tender should be quoted as : 1. 4 year lease + 1 year extension, also 2. Purchase of the infrastructure option with the rest as per option 1 ie storage, maintenance installation and take down contract. The following requirements are: - Installation in November to be ready to switch-on on the 4th Saturday of November each year. Removal no earlier than the 7th January. The provision of storage until the following year's installation. Contractor to check lighting scheme is fully operational at least once a week during the festive season and make good as soon as possible once notified of, or a fault found. Tenderers are to break down the unit cost of each type of light display proposed within their tender submission, so that clarity between infrastructure and installation costs are transparent. For the provision of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Contract Duration: 36 Months with a provision to extend for 2 Years in 12 month increment periods GMFRS would like to make full use of the Workplace Charging Scheme to fund £350 per socket for the maximum allowance of 40 sockets. Our charging infrastructure will likely need to support a variety of EV makes and models and potentially different types of connectors and charging modes. GMFRS are seeking quotations for both 'Fast' 22kW (Type 2 socket) charge points and 'Rapid' 50kW to 62.5kW DC 43kW to 44kW AC charge points. These charging points must be aligned to the CHAdeMO or CCS charging standards. North East Lincolnshire Council declared a climate emergency in 2019 and has a stated commitment to become net zero by 2040, for its own activities, and by 2050 for the Borough as a whole. The Authority is committed to facilitating the use of zero emission vehicles which it sees as being key to achieving its net zero goals. The Authority has also adopted a Carbon Roadmap which includes specific reference to low carbon transport as one of the key workstreams. The delivery of a step-change in the pace of EV charging rollout is a key element identified in the roadmap. The Authority has been given an indicative allocation of £1.4m by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) to deliver on street residential EV chargepoints and are looking to deliver a concessionary contract with a CPO or multiple CPOs which opens the opportunity for additional investment in EV charging infrastructure from both all parties. The Authority's EV charging strategy, adopted in 2024 sets out eleven key goals and looks to deliver at least 500 standard chargepoints by the end of 2026, and a further 300 by the end of 2030 across sites in North East Lincolnshire as part of a sustainable approach to EV charging that is easy to use, inclusive and accessible, and offers good value for money for the Authority and local residents. The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a 'Large Composites Curing Oven and Oven Feed-In Table' on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Scope of Requirement The AMRC has recently won HICOMS funding for an 'automated, large scale composites manufacturing centre', to create large scale composite component, to support global composite manufacturing companies and end users. This includes a 'fully automated layup and consolidation cell' which will require a 'Large Composites Curing Oven and Oven Feed-In Table' which is electric (rather than gas) powered. Within the 'fully automated layup and consolidation cell' the 'Large Composites Curing Oven and Oven Feed-In Table' will sit alongside a variety of other equipment, and will be in close proximity to the following:- -High Volume Deposition Cell - including Robot arms and guide rails -Press -Resin Injection Unit -Consolidation Station The procured 'Large Composites Curing Oven and Oven Feed-In Table' will be used regularly to cure a range of large epoxy resin-based composite materials (which could include other resin matrices such as cyanate ester and BMI) occasionally under vacuum conditions (exact conditions to be discussed in due course) for the aerospace sector. EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5 km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation. EKFB are looking for a competent contractor to provide the power system to the portal building . The portal building electrical distribution system shall have 100% redundancy in the form of Source A and Source-B for the LV main distribution as per the HS2 electrical design standards. The A & B transformers shall serve respective LV main switchboards. LV main Switchboards are placed in dedicated LV A & B switch rooms for improved security of supply. A cable inter-connection has been provided between the two LV main switchboards as a bus coupler. In the event of an interruption of supply to one of the incoming HV supplies, the entire building design load can be supported from only one incoming HV supply and transformer. In normal operation, each LV main switchboard shall serve approximately 50% of the power demand. An electrical, electronic and mechanical interlock shall be provided to prevent the cable link [...]
