The pump track design must be suitable for all ages and skill levels and built within an existing area of open space to the side of a residential development. A pump track is a continuous loop of rollers, berms, and other features designed to be ridden by using body movements (pumping) to generate and maintain speed, rather than pedalling. The primary purpose of this Service will be to support adults with multiple and complex needs who have a disability or long term health condition and their carers with welfare benefits and tribunal representation. The City of Doncaster Council is seeking to develop a framework of providers to support us to deliver our Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) housing adaptations. Adapting a home environment can help restore or enable independent living, privacy, confidence and dignity for individuals and their families. Home adaptations are changes made to the fabric and fixtures of a home to make it safer and easier to get around and to use for everyday tasks like cooking and bathing. Adaptations can include the installation of stair-lifts, level access showers and wet-rooms, wash and dry toilets, ramps, wider doors, and, in some instances, bespoke home extensions to existing dwellings as well as improvements to access to and from gardens. At this stage it is anticipated that the framework will consist of nine lots.
