Swindon Borough Council has 10,500 homes with just under 9000 of these having a gas boiler to provide heating and hot water. The Procurement will be split into four lots supporting our existing in-house gas team in all areas - gas Safety inspections north, gas safety inspections south, gas reactive repairs, reactive gas repairs out of hours. The initial contract term will be for 12 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months (2 periods of 12 months) for a potential total contract term of 3 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is between £729,000 - £739,000 across the initial 12 month term. Innovate UK is delivering a component of the ODA funded, UK vaccines Network (UKVN) on behalf of the Department for Health & Social Care (DHSC). To date the UKVN has invested £110M to support the development of vaccines for diseases that have outbreak potential. In the last 8 years IUK have delivered a £85M programme of work, specifically aimed at the development of platforms and vaccines that will have utility in Low- and Middle-Income Countries against diseases of epidemic potential. DHSC have just committed a further £45M, for a 4-year in the programme, to be delivered by IUK, to invest in on-going projects and new platforms and technologies. To reduce the risk of regulatory and technical failure as the projects move through pre-clinical and clinical development, current stage 1 projects will be asked to produce a Business Case and Technical Plan (BC&TP). This will give confidence to DHSC and IUK that the projects are more likely to complete to cost, time and quality constraints. These BC&TP documents will be reviewed by external independent assessors. The outcome of these reviews will be fundamental to the decision of whether the stage 1 projects are successful in receiving funding in stage 2 of the programme. The estimated contract start date will be 3rd February 2025 for the implementation, supply of software licence and software support for a period of 60 months; Installation and setup will be dependent on the bus shelter installation programme which is due to run from November 2024 to April 2025, so estimated start date may be subject to change as detailed in the ITT documents.
