Notice Title

HMPPS Domestic Abuse Support Officer (DASO) Case Management System

Notice Description

Provision of Civica to deliver HMPPS Domestic Abuse Support Officer (DASO) Case Management System. This contract supports the development of the Domestic Abuse Safety Officer Database (DASO) which is a new and standalone development within the current Victims Case Management System Intellectual Property owned and provided to the MoJ by Civica Ltd. The DASO development will be competed over a 3-month period and will comprise a separate AWS RDS database backend instance with a bespoke application frontend developed in Laravel PHP. The Database and application once developed, will be hosted within the MoJ hosting platform and supported by Civica Ltd as part of a separate support and maintenance contract. Domestic Abuse Safety Officers (DASOs) work with current and ex-partners of men referred to the accredited programme Building Better Relationships (BBR) and will have a minimum service level agreement for domestic abuse structured interventions. DASOs deliver non-judgemental and responsive support to promote the safety of their clients and in some cases their children. Day to day activities include assessing risk, providing support, and linking in with agencies to gather a 'bigger picture' of domestic abuse. Once the development work is completed these services will be procured along with Victim's case management system. As both systems will be using the same database.
