Summary of the contracting process

The British Army, through its Army Commercial division, has recently completed a procurement process for the "Engagement Pilot with The British Army for Reaching the Online Community", which was awarded to Ayozat Limited. This initiative falls within the communication and multimedia software category and is aimed at enhancing digital engagement with the modern tri-service audience, specifically through platforms popular among younger demographics. The contract, valued at £121,000, is set to commence on 16th June 2020 and will run for 12 months, concluding on 15th June 2021. The procurement method was a direct single tender action due to its positioning below threshold value, with a tender period that ended on 29th May 2020.

This opportunity opens various avenues for SME businesses with expertise in digital communication, multimedia content creation, and social media engagement. Companies skilled in live streaming, digital event management, and producing engaging content tailored for gaming and urban music audiences would be particularly well-suited to participate in similar future competitions. The innovative nature of this project offers potential for growth for suppliers who can deliver unique and interactive content that resonates with the target audience while assisting in recruitment efforts for the British Army.
