Summary of the contracting process

The Northern Housing Consortium Limited is initiating the Property Safety and Security Framework, with a Supplier Engagement Session scheduled for 12th July 2022 at 9:30 AM. This engagement is part of the planning stage of the procurement process and aims to gather input from interested suppliers to inform the re-procurement of the framework. The engagement opportunity will close on 13th July 2022. The procurement focuses on solutions compliant with PCR 2015 across various categories, primarily involving burglar-alarm systems and related services. Delivery addresses will be within the United Kingdom.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the security and safety industry, particularly those specialising in burglar-alarm systems, electrical circuits, and security consultancy services. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to participate. Suppliers who can offer innovative and compliant security solutions will find this engagement session an ideal platform to showcase their offerings and influence the final framework specifications, potentially leading to substantial contracts with public sector members.

Notice Title

Property Safety and Security Framework - Supplier Engagement Session

Notice Description

Consortium Procurement (CP) is the central purchasing body of Northern Housing Consortium. CP procure PCR 2015 compliant solutions on behalf of circa 400 public sector members across the UK, and are pleased to announce we have commenced the re-procurement of our Property Safety and Security framework. We are holding an engagement session for interested suppliers on Tuesday 12th July 2020 at 9.30am. This will be undertaken via a webinar and will consist of a presentation in the first instance to outline our thoughts and proposed services to be included in the framework. This will be followed up by a short questionnaire that will be circulated to all interested parties after the event to further inform us of the proposed solution as this will greatly assist us in ensuring we procure a solution that is suitable for all parties. If you would like to attend the webinar, which we anticipate to last around 30-45 minutes, please email tenders@consortiumprocurement.org.uk and we will subsequently confirm your attendance along with the webinar access details. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend this session but would still like to be involved and provide feedback please email your interest to tenders@consortiumprocurement.org.uk and we will send you a copy of the presentation along with the questionnaire.
