Notice Description

Sheffield Galleries & Museums Trust, trading as Museums Sheffield, invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced plant maintenance companies to offer annual planned preventative maintenance at four of our sites: Millennium Gallery, Weston Park Museum, our storage facility on the outskirts of the city, and our Leader House offices on Surrey Street. The contract will be for a period of 1 year beginning end of November 2018, but the successful company may be offered a further 2 years contract if performance is satisfactory. The Contract requires suitably qualified technicians and specialists to carry out maintenance and inspections across all sites at frequencies referred to in the B&ESA Standard Maintenance Specification for Building Services SFG20, incorporating the Equipment Manufacturer's recommendations. The successful company will also provide a 24-hour emergency service, where suitably qualified personnel will attend sites at any time in the event of equipment failure or system breakdown according to agreed response times and rates.
