Notice Description

South Tyneside Housing Ventures Trust Limited is an independent, private, not-for-profit company set up in 2013 and operating across South Tyneside. We are registered with the Regulator for Social Housing (4786) We currently provide 400 homes including family homes, homes for over 55s and independent supported living. Over the next two to four years we expect to develop a further 260 extra care homes and 100 general lets. We are looking for a fully outsourced housing management and maintenance contractor who can: * deliver exceptional service to all of our residents; * add value to the communities of South Tyneside; * demonstrate a commitment to value for money; * demonstrate an ability to meet all regulatory and compliance standards; and * calculate social and affordable rents and complex services charges. At this early stage we want to talk to housing organisations who have experience of providing housing and repair services to residents living in the range of settings set out above; of working in partnership with other landlords, local authorities and care providers; and of working with developers to bring new homes into management. We are holding Discussion Sessions on Friday 31 July. At these sessions we will provide additional information about STHVT and its ambitions; and would like to discuss your interest in providing the service, including answering questions you have at this stage. A formal tender process under OJEU regulations will begin in late Summer 2020, and the contract is expected to run from April 2021 for an initial four years with the opportunity to extend to seven and ten years. More information, or to book a discussion session on the 31st July, please contact Drew Frame by email on drew.frame@consortiumprocurement.org.uk.
