Summary of the contracting process

The Amber Valley Borough Council is currently inviting expressions of interest for the "Council Chamber Audio Visual Upgrade" project, which falls within the communications and IT services industry. The procurement process is at the tender stage, with a deadline for submissions set for 15 November 2019. This initiative is based in Ripley, East Midlands, and aims for a contract value between £30,000 and £50,000. Interested parties should direct their expressions of interest to Simon Gladwin via email at simon.gladwin@ambervalley.gov.uk.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialised in audio-visual systems, IT services, and related equipment, particularly those that are small and medium-sized enterprises. Companies with the expertise to supply and integrate advanced microphone systems, along with support for existing hardware like hearing loops, would find a suitable match here. The project not only enhances council facilities but also allows participants to showcase their capabilities, potentially leading to future contracts as technology upgrades become necessary.
