Notice Description

The main purpose of the service is delivery of off-site programmes for learners on roll of Leeds' schools, SILCs, PRUs for identified learners aged 11-19. Children's Services deem off site provision to be that when learners access part of their learning entitlement at an off-site (i.e. out of school) provider during the academic day. It is expected that learners will follow a nationally recognised programme or qualification which is included in section 96/97 and that will be accredited to the home school's assessment and attainment table. Off-site educational provision does not include any out of school hour's activities. The specification of work is broken down in to three cohorts/lots. Service providers will be asked to identify which lots they wish to bid for as part of their tender proposal: Lot 1. 11-13 year old learners (Key Stage 3) Lot 2. 13-16 year old learners (Key Stages 3 and 4) Lot 3. 16-19 year old learners (Key Stage 5)
