Summary of the contracting process

The Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP) has completed an award process for the "Panel for Minor Works" tender, aiming to set up a panel of contractors to deliver repair and maintenance services mainly to tenants in Sutton. The procurement process includes 12 different trades divided into lots, with successful contractors appointed for a three-year period starting from 2021. The tender had an open procedure method with a tender period that ended on March 26, 2021, and the contract period starts on May 3, 2021, and ends on May 31, 2024.

This opportunity is particularly suited for smaller contractors in the plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and other related trades seeking to work with SHP to deliver reactive repair services. The awarded contract, active since September 1, 2021, creates a platform for business growth by offering a steady flow of minor works projects. Businesses in the repair and maintenance services industry, especially those specialising in the specified trades, would find this tender a valuable opportunity to collaborate with SHP and enhance their presence in the market.
