Notice Title
Pre Market Engagement - Assistive Technology
Notice Description
Leicester City Council is considering options for a digital referral system for Children's Assistive Technology which requires a single platform through which all referrals for assistive technology filter and in which a central database can be housed and managed. For the purpose of this exercise, assistive technology refers to both sensory and non-sensory needs of children in both mainstream and special schools and settings. Non sensory refers to physical disability and sensory refers specifically to visual and hearing impairments. The service is looking to improve its operations and efficiencies by using digital technology and align with strategic priorities. This is further highlighted in Appendix A and the expectation is that these priorities will be factored into any responses received. Through this pre-market engagement, we hope to gain insight into what solutions are available and how the council can gain from up-to-date methods and technologies. We also seek, from this engagement, any additional improvements that could be offered to the request above. We aim to apply these insights to inform a business case and gain approval for a full procurement. Responses will inform a realistic set of tender requirements.
