Satellite Tracking Services
Notice Description
The Home Office is looking for Service Providers to supply (UK-wide) the following; * A range of satellite tracking solutions that will allow the Authority to use satellite tracking proportionately by matching the type and degree of monitoring to the risk posed by each FNO. To include secure devices (which accurately track the location of the wearer, together with a compatible software solution that monitors a person's movements on and up to a 24/7 basis), as well as less intrusive devices for lower harm cases; * Software which includes an alert capability for specified events, e.g. when a wearer needs to charge a device, removes or attempts to remove the device. The solution may offer a mix of location technology; * A monitoring capability that incorporates an automated response to alerts; * A national wide induction and fitting service to issue, replace and remove devices. This will be inclusive of briefing covering battery charging and other actions to avoid non-compliance; * A field service that can respond to alerts; and * A suite of Management Information reports including a self-service capability for the Authority to access data and reports. It is the intention of the Authority to award this contract to one provider who is either able to provide all the services required or is able to provide the services via sub-contractors. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that Respondents are required to express an interest separately for this competition regardless of their involvement in the previous Market Engagement activities for this project. Any such involvement does not constitute an expression of interest for the competition advertised in this notice. In order to express an interest in the process, please follow the steps set out below. OJEU Contract notice 2018/S 110-250787 contains full details. The Authority intends to hold a Launch Day on the 26th June 2018; non-attendance will not exclude bidders from this procurement as documents will be accessible via the procurement portal. Joining details will be provided once a Non-Disclosure Agreement is completed. The procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service's e-Sourcing Suite. If you have not yet registered on the e-Sourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link 'Register for CCS e-Sourcing'. Full instructions for registration and use of the system can be found at https://gps.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/i-am. Once registered, organisations wishing to participate in the tender must send an email to: STSPP@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk. The email should be entitled "Satellite Tracking Services Tender -Expression of Interest" and contain your full contact details including the name of the person who has registered on the CCS eSourcing suite. Participants are requested to express an interest by 4th July 2018 at 14:00 GMT to allow for the administrative process/submission of bids.
