The Worcester City Council is currently seeking tenders for electrical services under a measured term contract. This procurement, classified under installation services of electrical and mechanical equipment, encompasses a range of tasks including regular testing, reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, and minor works projects. The tender is part of a selective procurement method, with submissions due by 22nd July 2019. This opportunity presents significant potential for electrical contractors, particularly those specialising in maintenance and repair services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to engage in this tender, especially those able to provide 24-hour emergency response services as required by the council. The nature of the contract, which may expand to include additional residential properties and services, suggests room for growth and collaboration for businesses looking to leverage public sector contracts in the West Midlands.
