Summary of the contracting process

Companies House, a public sector organisation based in CARDIFF, Wales, is planning an early market engagement process for the potential procurement of Contact Centre Services. The process aims to gather information from multiple markets to inform the future delivery model of its customer contact service, following the expiration of the current contract in November 2025. Companies House intends to engage in various market activities to explore opportunities and is open to receiving feedback from interested suppliers. The engagement activities may include RFI, surveys, questionnaires, and one-to-one meetings, with procurement activities expected to take place in late 2024 to early 2025.

The tender, classified under industry-specific software packages, communication and multimedia software packages, call centre services, and supply services of personnel, presents an opportunity for businesses operating in these sectors to participate. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise organisations (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to engage. Companies interested in providing contact centre software, contingent labour resources, or fully outsourced contact centre services should consider engaging with Companies House by emailing Commercial@companieshouse.gov.uk with company details and service offerings. This opportunity allows businesses to shape the future commercial strategy of Companies House while potentially securing a future procurement contract.
