Notice Description
1.3 Description of scope/Specification 1. Historic England is looking to purchase data collected through mobile platforms and other digital hardware to produce research for the Cultural Heritage Capital Programme (CHC). We need data for informed decision-making using locational analytics from mobile devices and other sources. The successful candidate will provide data and insights on movement patterns, visitor frequency, dwell time, and where visitors are residentially from. 2. The research aims to explore the use of data from mobile devices and other sources for alternative sampling methods in economic valuation. The collected data will be used for econometric analysis and descriptive statistics. 3. There must be scope for 15 separate heritage sites to be analysed. More will be preferred. Essential data on movement patterns, visitor frequency and where visitors are residentially from should be available for at least 5 heritage sites when the contract start date. All heritage sites will be expected within 28 calendar days of the starting date. If availability exists to change these locations afterwards, such time limits will not contain them. 4. The successful candidate will be awarded up to ?50,000 (including VAT) for the services pretraining to this tender. Not all of this funding must be used. If a candidate suggests a bid above ?50,000 the bid will automatically be disregarded. The price of the service will be considered as part of the 'Most Economically Advantageous Tender'. The award criteria in full can be seen in full in section 3.1. Data: 5. Historic England must be able to use the data for aggregated and statistical analysis purposes. The findings from the statistical analysis will be published. Graphical representations of aggregated data may be published. 6.
