Notice Description

GMP is coming to the end of their 3rd year of offering the Personal Development Action Learning Sets (PeDALS) Programme to staff and officers from underrepresented groups. This positive action programmes aims to lift the potential and confidence of BAME staff and officers in order to encourage vertical and lateral progression throughout the organisation and so help to develop a workforce that is more representative of our Greater Manchester communities. A new contract is required to design and facilitate a Positive Action Development Programme for Police Officers and Police Staff. The delivery would be from Oct 2019 to Sept 2022 and include two cohorts per year, consisting of one BAME police officer cohort and one BAME police staff cohort. Each cohort will accommodate 12 delegates and involve 8 workshops. The programme is made up of 1 introductory session and 6 Action Learning Sets delivered over 12 months with significant activities required outside of the workshops for the delegates. The programme would conclude with 1 follow up workshop 12 months later.
