2.1 The purpose of this procurement is to appoint an organisation to work with us to co-ordinate skills development to significantly increase the use of AEDs by individuals in community settings supported by confident CPR skills and understanding of how to minimise Covid-19 infection risk. This applies to England.The successful bidder must have the skills and experience to:- Undertake a review of existing provision of CPR and AED training- Highlight how skills can be developed seldom heard groups and communities with high health inequalities - Improve awareness of the use of defibrillators- Increase the number of new people trained in CPR - Support partners to co-ordinate an enhanced training offer - Establish a network of volunteers focussed on generating understanding and engagement with CPR training
