Procurement of Consultancy Services for Conservation and Repair Works
Notice Description
Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust is undertaking a procurement process to identify and appoint a number of Service Providers to provide consultancy services. The Invitation to Tender documentation contains information, instructions and guidance to inform all Service Providers who wish to tender for the Framework Agreement and the First Call-off Contract. Following SSQ and full Tender evaluation, it is intended that a maximum of 4 Service Providers for each Lot will be appointed to the Framework and that one Service Provider for each Lot will be awarded the First Call-off Contract.

Building Conservation Design Team
Building Conservation Design Team led by a named lead consultant who must be an architect, chartered building surveyor or chartered architectural technologist. To satisfy the requirement of project funders, the lead consultant must hold one of the following professional accreditations: - Conservation Accredited Architect listed on the AABC Register at category 'A', RIAS Register at Accredited or Advanced level or the RIBA Conservation Register at Specialist Conservation Architect level; or - Chartered Architectural Technologist listed in the CIAT Directory of Accredited Conservationists at Accredited Conservationist level; or - Chartered Building Surveyor listed on the RICS Building Conservation Accreditation Register For the Framework tender the Lot 1 Building Conservation Design Team must include the following specialists within the lead consultant practice or as sub-consultants: 1a: Lead consultant 1b: Principal designer 1c: Structural Engineer 1d: Mechanical and Electrical Engineer For the First Call-off Contract tender the Lot 1 Building Conservation Design Team must additionally include the following specialists within the lead consultant practice or as sub-consultants: 1e: Fire safety specialist 1f: Timber decay specialist 1g: Paint analysis specialist 1h: Plasterwork conservator 1i: Sculpture conservator 1j: Ironwork conservator 1k: Drainage / civil engineer 1l: Landscape Architect 1k: Arboriculturist 1l: Archaeologist
Chartered Quantity SurveyorProcurement of Quantity Surveyor services. The Quantity Surveyor must hold chartered status professional accreditation and have current first-hand experience of providing Quantity Surveyor services for projects involving grade I or II* listed buildings.
Heritage Project OrganisorProcurement of a Heritage Project Organisor. The Heritage Project Organiser must hold relevant professional accreditation and have current first-hand experience of organising heritage projects involving grade I or II* listed buildings.
