Notice Description
The Invitation to Tender (ITT) has been prepared by The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (the "Authority") for the appointment through competition of a suitably experienced and competent Contractor for delivery of Trust Capital Programme 2024 -2027 - Framework, P23 CWAS2/ProCure23 FW Lot1.1, in accordance with the specification and the form of contract provided.
Lot Information
Lot 1: P23 - Healthcare Solution Provider Lot 1: P23 - Healthcare Solution Provider Lot 2: P23 - Healthcare Solution Provider PS20M - PS70M - England. Healthcare related construction works and associated services including works activities, design services and construction consultancy services. Additional information: 8 (eight) Supplier Alliance Members will be awarded a place on Lot 2, subject to the 1% rule as detailed in paragraph 12.2 of Attachment 2 - How to Bid. The Contracts Finder notice and ITT Event will be published on 27/09/2021. Airfield related construction works and associated services including works activities, and design services; this lot applies to the whole of the UK. Non-sector specific construction works and associated services including works activities, and design services; this lot applies to the whole of the UK. Lot 3: P23 - Healthcare Solution Provider > PS70M - England. Healthcare related construction works and associated services including works activities, design services and construction consultancy services. Additional information: 8 (eight) Supplier Alliance Members have been awarded a place on Lot 3. Lot 4 CWAS 2 Airfield Works - National Lot. Airfield related construction works and associated services including work activities, and design services; this lot applies to the whole of the UK. Additional information: 6 (six) Supplier Alliance Members have been awarded a place on Lot 4. Lot 5: CWAS 2 - General Construction Works > PS80M. Additional information: 20 (twenty) Supplier Alliance Members have been awarded a place on Lot 5. Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Contracting Authority has put in place ProCure23 (P23) (Lots 1, 2 and 3) which is the fourth generation of the ProCure framework and will continue the provision of design and construction services to NHS capital projects other than in respect of the New Hospital Programme*. Please note this is available only to NHS bodies in England. In its 19 year history this mature and award winning framework has successfully delivered more than 1200 projects across England, with a cumulative spend of PS9.7bn, and ProCure23 will build this heritage into a third decade. * Whilst the framework is not intended to provide the main sourcing routes for new hospitals within the New Hospital Programme (NHP), for the avoidance of doubt, NHP does reserve the right to use it. This reserved right was stated in the PIN. Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Contracting Authority has put in in place a Pan Government Collaborative Agreement (for Lot 4 and Lot 5 only) for the provision of Construction Works to be utilised by eligible Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education and Devolved Administrations. This commercial agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all Construction Works projects required by UK Central Government Departments. Lot 2: P23 - Healthcare Solution Provider PS20M - PS70M - England. Healthcare related construction works and associated services including works activities, design services and construction consultancy services. Additional information: 9 (nine) Supplier Alliance Members have been awarded a place on Lot 2, subject to the 1% rule as detailed in paragraph 12.2 of Attachment 2 - How to Bid.

"text": "CCS is issuing this corrigendum to clarify that, whilst the framework is not intended to provide the main sourcing routes for new hospitals within the New Hospital Programme (NHP), for the avoidance of doubt, NHP does reserve the right to use it. This reserved right was stated in the PIN. In light of this clarification, on 23 November 2021, CCS reopened the invitation to tender for: i. any potential bidder wishing to now submit a tender for Lots 1, 2 and/or Lot 3 only; ii. bidders who have previously submitted a tender to consider whether they wish to amend and resubmit their tender(s) for Lots 1, 2 and/or 3 only. The deadline for submission of tenders is Thursday 23 December 2021 at 9:59. For the avoidance of doubt, bidders who have already submitted a tender for Lots 1, 2 and/or 3 do not have to resubmit their tender(s) if they determine that the omitted text does not affect their original tender(s) submission. However, should any bidder choose to tender for Lots 1, 2 and/or 3 do so in the knowledge that the new tender(s) shall supersede any tender(s) for the same lot previously submitted to CCS.
