The BCU Health Board in North Wales is progressing an expression of interest exercise for a Digital Preoperative Assessment System. A digital preoperative assessment (POA) solution to: Deliver and implement a digital solution that replaces all current paper formats in the POA process, within 6 months of instruction allow completion of health assessment from home permit multiple users to be able to access the patient record at any time automatically allocate patients into a risk category based on surgical severity and medical history using the health board's criteria integrate with the Welsh Patient Administration System (PAS) and Clinical Portals provide digital patient information in both English and Welsh. Through this Notice the Health Board is hoping to learn what is possible/available in the market place as it shapes its strategy and requirement Additional information: This is an information gathering exercise which will help inform a future procurement procedure. However, dependent upon the responses the Health Board reserves the right not to progress the procurement. It is possible that further expressions of interest are issued after the initial responses have been considered.
