Summary of the contracting process

Following the Market Awareness Event which took place on 25th and 26th May 2022, the MoD is now inviting all interested suppliers to partake in a Request for Information (RFI).

Following the Market Awareness Event which took place on 25th and 26th May 2022, the MoD is now inviting all interested suppliers to partake in a Request for Information (RFI). The presentation slides can be found as attached. This RFI seeks information from industry, to further understand how our requirements fit within the market and what (if any) are the obstacles for the market to overcome, in order to satisfy this requirement in part/full. All responses are required to be emailed to: Stacey.Stone103@mod.gov.uk , in Microsoft Word format, no longer than 6x A4 pages in Ariel font size 11, to cover all 13 questions. All responses must be received by no later than COP Wednesday 6th July 2022. RFI Questions are as follows: RFI Commercial: 1. Understanding the requirement better, do you believe you can deliver the requirements in full? Please provide your justification. 2. Understanding the requirement better, do you believe you can deliver the requirements in part? If so, which parts/elements/areas? 3. Understanding the requirement better, from your perspective, do you foresee any obstacles where payment may be concerned? What would those barriers look like? 4. Understanding the requirement better, from your perspective, can you foresee any obstacles where Key Performance Indicator's (KPIs) may be concerned? What would those barriers look like? 5. Understanding the requirement better, from your perspective, do you foresee any obstacles when providing any of the products /Services? What would those barriers look like? 6. Are there any other obstacles or concerns that prevent you from meeting the requirements or prevent you from potentially submitting a bid/participating in the tender? 7. What alternative solutions do you have to offer which may/ may not require the rescoping of our requirements? What would that look like? 8. What would your current pricing model look like based on our requirements? 9. What would your pricing model look like, when offering your solution to the requirements? 10. Do you foresee any obstacles with providing support to the Authorised Demanders? What would those barriers look like? 11. Do you foresee any obstacles with providing monthly management information? What would those barriers look like? 12. Is there any other industry standard Management Information you currently provide which you believe could be useful to this requirement? RFI Technical: 1. What would your authentication process look like considering the MoD are not able to release the IP ranges?
