Notice Description
The Forensic Capability Network is seeking to establish a contract model for use by the 43 Police Forces of England and Wales, and potentially other relevant authorities in the UK. The contract will provide service delivery of the consumables, equipment and chemicals related to Scene of Crime Investigation as part of the effective performance of the criminal justice system.

Supply of consumables, equipment & chemicals for use by relevant Authorities to support the investigation of crime. Assembly of specific kits such as for example, Forensic Medical Kits and Road Traffic Accident Kits Medical, laboratory consumables and equipment Ad-hoc requirements within the field of forensics consumables, products or equipment, chemicals Authorities as a minimum are the 43 Police Forces in England and Wales, including the Police forensic laboratories, SARC units and Police Custody locations. In addition, Fire & Rescue, MOJ Prisons and MOD Army and other UK authorities. Additional information: This Prior Notice is seeking Preliminary Market Consultation. Interested Providers/Suppliers can request a short questionnaire from the Forensic Capability Network. All responses will assist in the development of a more focused specification and insights of this consultation may be used to shape the Selection and Award process of a further competition.
