Lot 1
Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust has awarded a contract for the provision and implementation of an Intranet Platform and Staff App Services solution, in addition to associated hosting and support services.
The current Intranet platform is over seven years old, and the Trust is therefore looking to secure a new, modern functioning intranet to transform how it communicates and engages with the work force. Required areas of improvement include:
* Improved technical features and capability;
* An improved search function;
* A central contact directory; and
* Compatibility with accessibility legislation and NHS Digital security requirements.
The contract commences on 2nd April 2024, and is awarded for an initial period of three (3) years until midnight of the 1st April 2027, with an option to extend for a further period or periods up to a maximum of two (2) years, subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Trust. The duration of this Contract shall be no longer than five (5) years in total.
The Trust has procured this contract following the Open Procedure under the UK Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions. The Trust is awarding one Contract for the provision of all services detailed in the Specification. The Trust has utilised the NHS Standard Terms & Conditions for Services Contract.
Renewal: The Contract will be awarded for a period of three (3) years until 17th December 2026, with an option to extend for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year, subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Trust.
