Summary of the contracting process

Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd is overseeing the CP7 Independent Reporter Framework, a crucial procurement project categorised under Accounting, Auditing, and Fiscal Services (CPV 79200000). Located in London, UK, the framework focuses on various aspects, including analytical support, project management, and financial reporting. The procurement process involves several lots, such as Analytical Support, Programme, Project, and Cost Management, Asset Management and Engineering & Environmental Matters, Railway Operations and Performance Management, and Efficiency and Financial Reporting. This framework, with an estimated spend of £9.8 million, will span from 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2028, with the option of two 12-month extensions. The initiative is currently in the Award stage, having started with the Tender announcement on 10th June 2024, and is driven by a competitive procedure with negotiation.

The CP7 Independent Reporter Framework offers substantial business growth opportunities, especially for companies specialising in data analysis, project management consultancy services, and environmental engineering consultancy. Businesses with expertise in finance consultancy can also benefit significantly from the Efficiency and Financial Reporting lot. The scope of work includes data analysis, engineering assessments, and financial audits, which can help businesses demonstrate their capabilities and secure long-term contracts with Network Rail. The framework's selective procurement method ensures that only qualified suppliers with robust capabilities and expertise can join, making it an ideal avenue for businesses aiming to establish a strong presence in the rail and infrastructure sectors in the UK.
