This contract contributes to the implementation of the Celebrating Cultures and Diversity theme of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan. The Multiculturalism to Interculturalism project will be tendered through 4 Lots, aligned to the strands of the project. Strand 1 (Lot 1): Community Language and Cultural Access Programme - to highlight the indigenous linguistic heritage and new languages that are present within Belfast on a cross community basis through Irish Language and Ulster Scots Heritage project and New Languages Programme. Strand 2 (Lot 2): Cultural Spaces Programme to increase awareness of community capacity within and cross community engagement in the different culturally significant spaces across Belfast through inter community connected neighbourhood and citywide venues leadership, capacity building and activities programme. Strand 3 (Lot 3): Festivals and Flagship Events Programme to help flagship events become more accessible to all.
