Summary of the contracting process

LHC Procurement Group (LHCPG) has issued an early market engagement notice for its 2025 Procurement Pipeline on behalf of the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA). The procurement process encompasses multiple projects in the construction industry, spanning regions including Midlands, London, South East, and South West England. The procurement stage is currently in the planning phase, with the main categories being construction works such as roofing systems, energy efficiency, renewable technologies, public buildings construction, windows and doors installation, and kitchen supplies. Key dates include the release of tenders for various projects starting from mid-February 2025, summer 2025, with engagement activities planned throughout spring and autumn 2025, and expecting frameworks to be live by early 2026.

This tender represents significant business growth opportunities within the construction sector, particularly for firms specialising in renewable technologies, building maintenance, roofing systems, and public infrastructure works. Companies involved in the design, supply, and installation of energy-efficient solutions, building materials, and equipment, as well as kitchen manufacturers, will find this procurement pipeline beneficial. The various dynamic purchasing systems (DPS) and frameworks encourage competitive bids from suppliers capable of delivering comprehensive services. Larger construction firms, SME contractors, and specialised technology providers are well-suited to compete for these projects, potentially expanding their market presence and client base. Interested parties should express their interest via the LHCPG eTendering portal.
